1. Bastien Jalibert

Bastien ‘Coolashu’ Jalibert is a character and background designer based in Paris. His stripped back work playfully utilises geometric shapes. With minimal lines he exaggerates characters’ features and creates abstract landscapes for them to inhabit. He employs light textures and harmonious saturated colours to bring a scene to life.

  2. Owen Davey

Owen Davey is a freelance illustrator based in Leicester, England. Inspired by mid-century design, he uses a palette of warm, muted colours to create work which is both contemporary and nostalgic. He has worked with clients from across the globe and is behind the Flying Eye best-sellers, Mad About Monkeys and Smart About Sharks.

  3. Noelle Stevenson

Noelle Stevenson is still studying illustration at Maryland Institute College of Art but has already developed an impressive style. A fan of all things that can comfortably be tagged as “geeky”, I particularly appreciate Noelle’s (un)healthy affinity to the Scooby Doo gang. I was interested to find out that her work is produced entirely in Photoshop—a great technique that retains all the quirks of traditional hand drawings. Be sure to check out her website for more of her work, or maybe pick up one of her print – do it quick though, I doubt they will stay that cheap for long!
