Tomioka Jiro is an illustrator from Japan. He has worked on covers for multiple Japanese magazines, including Tokyo Ziggrat, Touch, and Frontier. He has collaborated with several Vocaloid producers, including takamatt, YM, and effe.
Some of Jiro’s music credits include the Tokio Funka music video for takamatt and GUMI. As well as the album artwork for YMM (YM Music) and Eastend Pandemonium
His portfolio ranges from cute pin-ups to gritty urban environments, layered with details. From time to time, he even throws in a few abstract elements to an otherwise everyday setting. It is interesting that a lot of Jiro’s artwork is created using the lightweight painting software, SAI.
