In the early 1980s, Tobie Giddio studied fashion illustration at the New York Fashion Institute of Technology. Here she learned from professors such as Barbara Pearlman, her primary mentor, as with the late Jack Potter, Ana Ishikawa, Gertrude Stretton and Dorothy Loverro. Since graduating, she has gone on to work for several big names such as Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Seibu Department Stores, Apple and Tiffany & Co. She now works with her husband Peter Belsky, a talented motion/graphic designer in his own right. Dovetail Studios now formally presents their collaborations.
