Fashion Fridays ~ Coco Pit

Coco Pit is a French designer and graphic artist. Collaborating with the fashion, beauty and design industries, her work has been published in numerous publications as well as shown in exhibitions around the world.

After graduating in Fine Art at the University of Paris VIII, she moved to London, England to set up her own creative and technology consultancy called “getConfused.” Then Coco traveled to Japan, Asia, and the US, only to return to Paris in 2013. Nowadays, she dividing her time between illustration commissions for major retail brands and trend reports for fashion publications.

In 2009, Coco began designing a collection of her own digital prints under the banner, Forget me Not. Applying her patterns, illustrations and compositions to a wide selection of fashion and lifestyle accessories such as scarves, turban head pieces and homewear items. Her collections are available around the world from selected fashion and luxury stores including Barney’s, Colette, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Tsum, Club 21, Tomorrowland and many more.

Coco’s work favours instantly readable graphic shapes. Though restrained is embellished with small details. Starting her process traditionally with painting, drawing and ceramics, she will arrange the elements digitally. This allows her to experiment and arrive at a composition organically.
