Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan

Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan

Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan opens today at The National Gallery and will run until 5th of February 2012. It focuses on Leonardo the painter, and will be displaying works such as ‘La Belle Ferronière’, the ‘Madonna Litta’ and ‘Saint Jerome’. It will also be the first time both ‘Virgin of the Rocks’ will be shown together. This could possibly be a once in a life time exhibition. I definitely recommend, if you can that you make time to go see it.

“‘Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan’ is the most complete display of Leonardo’s rare surviving paintings ever held. This unprecedented exhibition – the first of its kind anywhere in the world – brings together sensational international loans never before seen in the UK.”
