This week’s Manga Monday features the work of a manga royalty, Masamune Shirow. Most famous for creating Ghost in the Shell which subsequently has been turned into very successful anime films, TV series and video games. He is also the creator of the very popular Appleseed, which won him a Seiun Award for Best Manga.

His illustrations are very polished and have all the typical traits of manga. He combines vivid colours and a healthy dose of cyber-punk for some truly spectacular work.
