Commercial illustrator Daisuke Kimura has produced work for magazines, CD sleeves, and character design for books. What I find really intriguing about his work is the different styles he deploys. All of it coloured digitally, some pieces have a polished airbrush finish while the others may imitate water colours, or pastels. That versatility is a great tool for creating different moods.
