Edmund Dulac (1882–1953)

Born in Toulouse France, Edmund Dulac moved to London and began his very accomplished book illustration career. Edmund worked on many of the great classics and fairytales including The Arabian Nights, The Tempest, Rubaiyat, The Sleeping Beauty and Stories from Hans Christian Andersen to name a few. His work has been published and re-published over the years.

I have many fond memories of being lost in his immersive an ornate pictures for hours. He is a truly treasured artist by many. Step into his world.
