    Jon Foster is an American freelance illustrator and sculptor based in Rhode Island, New England. He is best known for his lavish oil painted comic book covers for DC and Dark Horse Comics. Jon’s work has received recognition and awards from the Society of Illustrators, Dark Scribe Magazine, and the sci-fi and fantasy art publication, Spectrum.

    Raina Telgemeier is a multi-award winning American cartoonist and comic artist. Most famous for her New York Times bestsellers Smile, Drama, and Sisters. Born in 1977 San Francisco, when she was 22 she moved to New York City. There she studied illustration at the famous talent factory, School of Visual Arts (SVA). In 2002, she walked out of Univesity with a BFA and stepped straight into a career of a freelance artist.

Their combined efforts on Horrible Histories has made reading and learning more fun and accessible to many. Their work, along with their publisher’s Scholastic, have spawned over 100 titles, animated and live-action TV series, video games, theatre and roadshows, a magazine, and a plethora of merchandising. Spanning two decades, Horrible Histories is nothing short of a phenomenon.
