    Rea Irvin’s name might not be instantly familiar, but you most certainly are familiar with his work. Born August 26, 1881 in San Francisco, Irvin studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute. His first steps into an illustration career was as an unpaid cartoonist for The San Francisco Examiner. In conjunction with his illustrating endeavours, he also worked as an actor and a piano player before moving to the East Coast in 1906.

    Olivia Huynh is an animator and illustrator currently based in San Francisco. In 2013 She graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Animation (with honors). Even before graduating Huynh freelanced at NASA and The Daily Beast. Her student film, Borrowed Light, was official selection in multiple festivals such as Animation Block Party, New Urbanism Film Festival, Beloit International Film Festival and went on to win the Dark Sky Defender Award (2013), Best 2D Animation & Audience Favorite at Jalloo Festival (2013) and Best Student Film at NW Animation Festival (2014).

As an Adobe Certified Expert in Adobe Illustrator 10 he uses a combination of photography and the Adobe Illustrator software to produce dazzling vector based artwork.

    California College of the Arts alumni, Olivia Wise, is a freelance illustrator based in San Francisco. Her acrylic and gouache paintings are often of an ordinary scene, but with a slight absurd twist. Her bold block colours and her slightly warped shapes add to the abstract nature of her pieces.
