    Brandon Liao is a freelance concept artist based in Los Angeles, California. He has created concepts and illustrations for both video games and films for clients including Riot Games and Realm Pictures. He is an artist “on a mission to spread epicness throughout the universe.”

  2. Manga Mondays ~ Toshinho

    Toshinho is a freelance artist from Japan. He majored in fine art and began his creative career in video game development, working on titles including Metal Gear Solid 5, Final Fantasy Tactics and The Eye of Judgment. For the most part now he is trying to establish a genre called “Virtual Concept.”

  3. Zac Retz

    Zac Retz is a colour artist and character designer for games, film and animation. He had been working at games company Workinman Interactive since 2013, until recently deciding to become freelance. Part of the decision to freelance was so he could work on his own animated short. He has set up a Patreon to cover some of the costs. In return he shares the visual development process as well as tutorials.

  4. Natalie Nourigat

    You may recognise Natalie Nourigat’s name from our recent 28 Gumroad Creators You Really Should Know post, but undoubtably you would like to learn a little bit more about her. “Tally” is a cartoonist, storyboard artist, character designer, animator and writer. She attended University of Oregon and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese, in 2010.

  5. Manga Mondays ~ Ilya Kuvshinov

    Ilya Kuvshinov is an illustrator and storyboard artist originally from Moscow, Russia, but whom currently resides in Yokohama, Japan. Much of his personal work consists of pin-ups influenced by video games and film. Beautifully and sensitively rendered, Kuvshinov is able to paint alluring female characters without the need to sexualise them (for the most part).
