Fantasy style manga illustrator Ippus has some nifty pin-up illustrations on her Deviant Art page. The digital colours are applied to good effect, and she pays a lot of attention to the clothing and accessories of her characters. See more here.

Canadian illustrator Koyamori creates some superb watercolours full of fantasy and imagination. It’s so easy to get lost in the worlds she creates…I’d love to see her make a book for children. If you’d like to buy original art prints of her watercolour paintings, see here.

KawaiiHannah is an Australia based manga artist. She creates some very cute illustrations full of beautiful, vibrant colours. She is also a brilliant pixel artist, so there’s a very generous-sized gallery of animated gifs to browse through, if you like that sort of thing.

Inio Asano is probably best known for her highly acclaimed manga ‘Solanin’, which was turned into a feature film starring actress Aoi Miyazaki in 2010. Asano’s work ranges from realism to psycho-horror, and is very character driven. Of course we are all about illustration here on The Lounge, but I guess I can’t write about Asano without mentioning she is transgender, as it is such an interesting fact about the artist herself. Natalia Toledo aka Sei00 is from Chile and is currently studying Multimedia Communication at UNIACC. She uses digital techniques or watercolours to colour her fun-filled illustrations. Visit her Deviant Art page to see more.

Anastasia is a Russian ‘hobbyist’ with a cute, rather polished style. She has some great pixel work for show in her gallery, as well as her traditional illustrations. It’s a shame I couldn’t find more information about her, but you can see more of her work. So it’s not all bad…
