  1. Box Brown

    Box Brown is a comic book writer, illustrator and publisher from Philadelphia. His breakthrough graphic novel, Andre the Giant: Life and Legend, spent three weeks on the New York Times Graphic Novel Best Sellers List. Brown’s small press achievements were recognised by Ignatz Award, winning an Outstanding Series Award for his self-published book Everything Dies. Brown launched the comics publishing house Retrofit Comics, completely funded by Kickstarter donations.

    Jeff Turley is a Production Designer at Paramount Pictures, currently based in Los Angeles, California. He has worked as a visual development artist on feature films Big Hero 6 and Tangled, as well as Art director on the Oscar award-winning short, Paperman.

  3. 100 Hours ~ Now Live on Kickstarter!

    3dtotal has recently launched the incredible 100 Hours campaign on Kickstarter so we wanted to give you a bit more information about this fascinating project here. The aim is to bring together 100 hours’ worth of video tutorials featuring 100 artists, all for an affordable one-off payment of £18 (approx. US$25). If successful, the videos will be hosted on the 100 Hours website where backers will be given a unique login and password that will allow them to stream videos on their computer, phone or tablet. It will also be possible to download the videos so you can keep them forever to watch and learn from over and over again.

  4. Pernille Ørum

    Pernille Ørum is a visual development artist and illustrator based in Copenhagen, Denmark. She earned a bachelor degree in Character Animation from The Animation Workshop. Freelancing since 2014, some of Ørum’s clients include Disney, Warner Brothers, Mattel, and Nickelodeon.

  5. Amy Reeder

    Amy Reeder is a comic artist and writer, probably best known for her creator-owned series, Rocket Girl. She actually earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Science Teaching before being discovered by Tokyopop. After entering Tokyopop’s Rising Stars of Manga competition, Reeder was selected to write and illustrate Fool’s Gold. She has since illustrated for Vertigo, and DC Comics on Madame Xanadu, and Batwoman.
