  2. Suzanne Carpenter

    1 / 3

Welsh illustrator Suzanne Carpenter creates simple, punchy vector illustrations which look amazing when they’re plastered on something. On her website you’ll find her portfolio, picture books, patterns and more. Her Etsy shop is definitely worth looking at for a treat. I love her ‘Day of the Dead’ greeting cards! What’s also interesting about Suzanne is her school visits. Check the Workshops page on her website for more information.

“Books, like children, have a life of their own.  They leave my desk and wander off into schools and libraries and other people’s homes.  Sometimes I get to follow them.”

  3. Neiko Ng

    1 / 3

Neiko Ng is all set to graduate from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco this coming Spring semester.  She was recently spotted at the universities spring show by American Greetings (a greetings card production company) and was offered an internship on the spot. Neiko worked on a variety of projects and participated in digital and traditional drawing workshops each week.

“I made a lot of amazing friends with unique skill sets of their own, and they taught me how to improve my work as well…”

During her time at the Academy, Neiko has been named a finalist in the Society of Illustrators’ Zankel Scholar Award as well as working on a freelance project illustrating two children’s books, The Breakfast Bunch and Laurence’s New Haircut.

We think that she is great and especially love her work with paper cuts. Her goal after graduation is to work in the animation industry and continue to freelance in the illustration field.
