    Marijke Buurlage is a Dutch illustrator based in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. She has worked on children’s books, editorials, packaging and apps for clients including Adobe, Swatch, Solberg & Hansen and DOT Magazine. Her vibrant and playful work has earned the recognition of 3×3 Magazine, Boekie Boekie stArt Award and Fontanel Young Talent Award.

    The label “Internet Famous” gets thrown about a lot these days, not always justifiably, but after amassing a huge fan-base on sites like deviantArt and Facebook, I believe Lois Van Baarle has definitely earned it. Born in Holland, Lois Van Baarle studied animation in Ghent, Belgium, then continued her studies at Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU). Lois is currently working as a freelance illustrator and animator with international clients including Channel 4, CBBC, and Centre National du Jeu. All the while self-funding and developing her animation project, Trichrome. Check out her website for more stunning work.     Lea Vervoort is based in the Netherlands and has just graduated from Art Academy St Joost. Her style is very warm and she has a playful use of typography which suits. She is full of imagination and we look forward to seeing more of Lea’s creations in the future!
