  1. Ethan Becker

    Ethan Becker is a visual development artist at DreamWorks TV, based in Glendale, California. He has served as the Production Designer on the Annie-nominated series Dawn of the Croods and is currently a Revisionist on Voltron: Legendary Defender.

  2. Carter Goodrich

    Carter Goodrich is an award-winning illustrator based in Los Angeles, California. He has illustrated for children’s books, magazines and designed characters for animated feature films The Prince of Egypt (1998), Ratatouille (2007), Despicable Me (2010), Hotel Transylvania (2012), Brave (2012) and The Croods (2013). Goodrich is the proud recipient of two Society of Illustrators, New York, Gold Medals and six ASIFA Annie Award nominations, including two wins.

  3. Buck Lewis

    H.B. “Buck” Lewis is an animation artist, author, and illustrator. Since the late 1980s, he has worked in animation for leading studios Aardman, Blue Sky, DreamWorks, Pixar, Warner Bros., and Walt Disney. In 2005, he was inducted into the Walt Disney Features Hall of Fame.

  4. Amélie Fléchais

    Presenting the very sumptuous work of Amélie Fléchais. A French children’s book illustrator and visual development artist. Graduated in 2011, Ms Fléchais earned a diploma in 2D animation from ESAAT (Ecole Supérieure Arts Appliqués et Textile). That same year she interned at Cartoon Saloon, an Irish animation studio responsible for the Oscar-nominated The Secret of Kells. There she produced concept art for the feature film Song of the Sea. A couple years later, Ms Fléchais was asked back to do further visual development and background art for Song of the Sea. More recently Ms Fléchais has shared her talents with Dreamworks and Hornet animation studios.

  5. Erwin Madrid

    Erwin Madrid was born in the Philippines and grew up in California, USA. His talents were spotted very early on by Dreamworks, who hired him during his last semester at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco. He worked on a lot of the Shrek franchise, as well as the Madagascar sequel. He also creates some beautiful children’s book illustrations and has illustrated a comic book titled ‘Ananke’, which looks incredible.

  6. Leighton Hickman

    Leighton Hickman currently works at Dreamworks Animation as a visual development artist. But he also teaches, mentors and is a dab-hand at landscapes. He worked on ‘The Croods’, Dreamworks’ latest animated movie on show. If you visit his website, you’ll see his excellent paintings, which full of rough brush marks yet still feel true to life. You can see the 50’s animation influence in his striking character designs, which are superb.
