Anja Kroencke was born in Austria. Since moving to New York in 1994, she has enjoyed working as a full-time illustrator, finding inspiration for her work in ‘The Big Apple’. Her elongated silhouette style figures and clever colour combinations gave her a lot of recognition in the late 90s, inspiring many other fashion illustrators along the way. Anja has collected numerous awards from The Society of Illustrators, The Art Directors Club New York and many more. Clients include British Airways, Estee Lauder, Givenchy, Harvey Nichols, Mattel and Seiko.

After graduating in Fashion & Textile Design in 1988, Mandy Pritty worked in the fashion industry for several years as a designer. She then made the move into her true love, painting and illustration. It turned out to be a wise decision; she’s been illustrating professionally for the past 15 years!

Mandy has a great unique style, which is warm and fuzzy and borrows slightly from her previous fashion career with her recognisable elongated figures. She has worked in a range of sectors, from books to advertising, greeting cards, corporate illustration and more.

Her clients include Harper Collins, British Airways, BBC Good Food and Oxford University Press.

Lucy MacLeod has a ridiculous amount of talent. She seems to be able to draw from life with precision and ease, but then also has the creativity to spice it up. This is an awesome mix. What’s also nice is to be able to see every mark made. It feels hand crafted and passionate. Her clients include British Airways, Marie Claire, La Perla and Levi Strauss.

Thanks to Dwayne Bell (previously on The Lounge) for the suggestion.
