I discovered Mark Evans via Abduzeedo recently and was so excited I had to share. Mark’s work is created by etching leather hides with various types of knives and scalpels to create work that is jaw-droppingly brilliant, original and exciting. The work almost feels like it comes from hunter-gatherer times, early man with his simple tools carving straight onto caves. Only with a million times more precision. Mark’s website is very nearly as impressive as his epic carvings, so this is a must see!
