Cassandre Montoriol is an illustrator based in Paris, France. Capturing everything from shop fronts and cityscapes to cluttered bookshelves and busy offices. Her hand-drawn illustrations are often found spread across the glossy pages of prestigious publications.
In 1996, Montoriol graduated from Paris art school ESAG Penninghen. She has worked with a long list of esteem brands including Hermès, LVMH, Bloomingdale’s, GAP, and M/B. She also receives regular commissions from fashion magazines Vanity Fair, Vogue, Marie Claire and Glamour.
Working traditionally in ink and crayon, her observational drawings bring to mind personal scrapbooks and travel diaries. Vivid colours and tiny details breathe life into her work. You can almost hear the sounds of her bustling streets, conversely, you can feel the calm of her rooms as you stare out of their windows. Her figures are always stylish. Somehow, no matter how small, they sport fashionable haircuts and dress in trendy patterned garments.
