Chris Kim is an illustrator born & based in Toronto. I stumbled across his exciting blog and website portfolio. Check it out here. His abstract cartoon style along with attention to detail makes his art leap out off the page. His work reminds me in some instances of traditional Japanese tattoo art and in others it feels like the animation style of Studio Ghibli, yet regardless, his pieces are still always unique.
